The Transportation Service Centers (TSC) are directly responsible for delivery of the programs and projects in and around their TSC area. As a senior worker, this position is responsible for assisting the TSC Construction Engineer in all tasks associated with program and project management for the construction phase of the transportation projects. Alternate Education and Experience Transportation Engineer 9 - 12 Possession of a registered professional engineer license as required by the State of Michigan may be substituted for 6 months of experience at the Transportation Engineer 9-12 levels. This substitution may only be used once for any employee for qualification of appointment or early reclassification. Additional Requirements and Information Possession of a valid driver's license is required. Certification or ability to obtain within a year in Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control and Construction Storm Water Operator.
