Join our client, an established leader in the construction industry, as a Project Billing Associate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a long-term hire, offering a laid-back, family-oriented environment with professional flexibility. As a Project Billing Associate, you be responsible for all aspects of contract billing, issuing PO and vendors/subcontracts, setting up jobs, change orders and more. A part of your role will be assisting the Project Managers in doing bids, creating bid forms, and finding work for projects online. With growth in the role, you may also have the opportunity to attend prebids & job meetings. Although the role is focused more towards the billing side, the Project Assistance aspect will come as a secondary responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling all aspects of contract billing

• Handling change orders and submittals

• Assisting PMs with bid forms

• Setting up jobs and issuing POs

• Working on AIA billings and associating

• Locating work for projects online

• Project Assistance as required

As you master the initial priorities of this role, there are numerous opportunities for growth, especially given your knowledge of the construction industry. Requirements

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in construction accounting of some sort; while billing experience is great, other areas of accounting operations can be transferrable. Key to this role is a laid-back and easy-going personality that can adapt to a family-oriented, informal but professional work environment. Accuracy, honesty and the ability to get along with a wide array of personalities are critical.

Technical Skills:

High proficiency in MS Excel and Word

Proficiency in MS Outlook

Ability to create forms, edit and create PDFs

Experience with Computer Ease will have an advantage although not necessary as it can be taught.
