The Senior Filtration Scientist (m/f/d) for Cytiva is responsible for leading research projects in the development, optimization and application of membranes.

This position is part of the Membrane and Diagnostic Applications team located in Dassel and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in membrane materials, fabrication techniques and its use in various applications, along with demonstrated project management skills.

What you will do:

• Lead and participate in research and development projects

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in membrane based applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies and products.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Project management responsibilities and carrying out laboratory work as needed in the project

Who you are:

• PhD or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field

• Preferrably a minimum of 3 years of experience in membrane materials and its applications

• Strong background in membrane fabrication techniques and characterization methods

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Fluent in englisch and german

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Preferably proven track record of successful project management
