To support our Software Installation Teams we are looking for a Software Installation Engineer (m/w/d), working full-time to support our customers all over Germany. This role is Remote - Germany.

Job Description

  • Installation and configuration of hardware components, software products and software upgrades

  • Support of our customers in relation to the basic application of our products

  • Coordination and project handling in the context of upgrades, installations and commissioning in cooperation with our customers and the software project management team

  • Maintenance and updating of the technical documentation

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of Technical Institute or University in computer science, biomedical engineering or related fields.

  • First professional experience in IT, e.g. in 2nd level IT support, as a system administrator or in IT service

  • Knowledge of computer architecture (Intel based) and current Windows operating systems, databases and SQL applications (Microsoft MSSQL)

  • Independent and responsible way of working

  • Fluency German and at least a good command of written and spoken English

  • Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 60-70%) within Germany

  • Customer-oriented, communicative, resilient and able to work in a team
