The Business Control Analyst EMEAI (m/f/d) is an important contributor to the team and is an accurate and structured business partner. A successful Business Control Analyst is a self-starter, has a critical and problem-solving mindset and has the ability to collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders.

You will be part of the Finance team located in Darmstadt and you will work in a hybrid working model closely together with the other team members and functions in the organization. You are a naturally strong team player who takes full ownership of the work, focusing on impact through tangible results. The role is broad and touches all organizational areas.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of commercial and financial data.

• Prepare and analyze month-end and variance reports.

• Prepare forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance, and other related areas.

• Assist in the development of business policies and performance measures.

• Maintain and develop reports and procedures to facilitate accountability and compliance.

• Look for opportunities to improve the process effectiveness and improvements.

• Actively take part in cross functional initiatives to support and grow the business

• Ability to perform under pressure when confronted with emergent, critical, unusual situations, or situation in which working speed and sustained attention are make-or-break aspects of the job

• Assists in measuring, summarizing, and interpreting business results

  The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree preferable in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent education

• Accounting experience or certification is a plus

• Results, facts and figures oriented, accurate and fast learner

• Ability to analyses multiple sources of data, make connections, and create high quality solutions by using DBS tools (Danaher Business System)

• Strong communication and writing skills

• Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail

• Fluent in English

• Excellent MS Excel knowledge. Oracle, PBI and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
