Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess aMaster’s Nursing Degreefrom an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
· Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting
· One year of formal/informal teaching experience – preferred
· One year of management experience - preferred
· American Heart Association Basic Life Support
· American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor Certification - Preferred
· American Heart Association ACLS within 90 days of hire
