Geisinger Senior Product Manager (Work from home) in Danville, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Geisinger’s Steele Institute for Health Innovation serves as the innovation “hub” for Geisinger. The Institute’s purpose is to support Geisinger innovators and lead the nation in building transformative, scalable, measurable and sustainable solutions that improve health, care delivery, patient experience and lower costs. The Steele Institute for Health Innovation oversees the enterprise digital strategy. The digital strategy defines a foundational pivot from internally-focused operational improvements to externally-focused experiences for our consumers, patients and members. The digital strategy goes above and beyond to understand our consumers, making healthcare easier and more affordable, so they can live their healthiest life. The Senior Product Manager will sit within the Digital Transformation Office, a cross-functional team that works across the organization to design, define and implement the digital strategy. They will be charged with leading the discovery, design, and delivery of digital solutions through partnership with leadership, stakeholders, and consumers to meet the business needs. Responsible for acting as the product owner in leading product team(s) and other teams throughout the product/project lifecycle.

Job Duties

  • Works with the product team on the overall management of funded products and projects.

  • Responsible for the management of the product/project budget and contracts Ensures adherence to federal or other compliance or regulatory requirements.

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and management of product and project plans, includingmanaging product progress, reporting and quality control.

  • Develops and leads all technical documentation and testing related to the product/project.

  • Coordinates and facilitates multiple stakeholders groups during prototype process.

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to implement new processes or modify existing processes to facilitate product development.

  • Communicates recourse needs, issues, portfolio and product statuses and milestones met to leadership.

  • Responsible for the management of the development and delivery of innovation and product specific materials Coordinates with clinical informatic analysts, nurse informaticists, and software engineers in managing data, following compliance requirements, and implementing quality control procedures.

Education

Bachelor's Degree- (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Business Administration/Management (Preferred)

Experience

Minimum of 5 years-Managing people, processes, or projects (Required)
