DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating consumer care in accordance with nursing practice standards and consumer care standards by supervising nursing staff. Your duties will include ensuring consistent care and supervision, serving as a resource for staff, and overseeing patient support services. You will collaborate closely with other supervisors to foster a supportive team culture and maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff. Your responsibilities will also include staff development and ensuring compliance with policies. Additionally, you will exercise independent judgment, drawing on your professional training, comprehensive job knowledge, and specialized expertise.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 2nd shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM), with a 30-minute lunch. Rotating schedule; working on weekends and holidays as needed.
The 2nd shift receives $1.25 per hour shift differential.
May change based on operational needs. Overtime may be required as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years as a Registered Nurse (commonwealth title); or Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
Special Requirements: All positions require active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
