Robert Half Finance & Accounting is working with a respected manufacturing client on the North Shore seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its team. This is a permanent role, reporting into the Director of Administration, joining a small accounting department.

Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who can take ownership of the AR function for about 100 active accounts. Some of the billing involves international clients too. Our client is looking for someone who is strong in Excel and understands how to reconcile the accounts receivable to the general ledger. Experience working for a manufacturing company would be preferred.

For the right skillset our client will pay a starting base salary around $65-75K. The benefits are competitive too.

Requirements • Minimum of three years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar financial role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Experience in Billing procedures and Cash Applications

• Knowledge of Cash Collections and Commercial Collections

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and its application in financial tasks

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Adherence to confidentiality and data protection regulations.
