Samsung SDS America Logistics Finance Analyst (EM6862) in Dalton, Georgia
Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Finance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in financial forecasting, reporting, and strategic support, while ensuring compliance and efficiency in financial processes. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to develop actionable insights for business decisions.

Responsibilities:
Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures, identifying trends and recommending solutions
Assist in cost management initiatives to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
Collaborate with the team to develop and support long-term financial strategies aligned with company goals
Prepare monthly profit and loss reports and develop financial accounts for Q-Cells Part 1 and Part 2 accounts
Work closely with the finance team to answer questions and ensure all payments are properly classified
Provide audit support, ensuring timely responses and thorough documentation for internal and external audits
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity
Utilize and implement automation tools to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, finance) to gather data and assess financial impacts
Review and verify the accuracy of financial documents and reports to maintain data integrity
Create and present data-driven insights to support budgeting, decision-making, and financial analyses
Prepare comprehensive financial and resource reports for internal strategic planning
Collaborate with the new account setup team to assist in financial planning and strategy development
Partner with the business support team to analyze and interpret P&L reports, ensuring alignment and tracking during new account setups
Perform additional duties as required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
High School Diploma required
2+ years of experience in strategic planning, accounting, finance or Management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
