Position Summary:

Samsung SDS plays a leading role in the global logistics market with unique logistics services. With its innovative IT technology, SDS developed the integrated logistics solution called “Cello” in 2010, started its logistics business in 2012 and expanded its logistics business with Business Process Outsourcing.

Samsung SDS America, Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner will oversee human resources operations within the logistics division, focusing on employee engagement, recruitment, compliance, and operational efficiency

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as lead for communication and interpretation of HR policies and assist with the implementation of services, policies and programs

  • Works closely with site management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention

  • Implement performance management process, lead performance improvement plan/process with managers and assist with development plans

  • Assist managers with HR issues. Provide coaching and feedback to managers.

  • Employee Liaison – Support employee requests and questions. Manage employee relations issues.

  • Assist managers with communications, team meetings, recognition processes and team building; Plan, coordinate and champion team member events.

  • Employee orientation, development and training logistics and recordkeeping

  • Provide accurate and timely HR information including attendance and productivity to management and employees

  • On/Off boarding process

  • Coordinate the full-cycle recruiting process with internal recruitment team

  • General Affairs:

  • Day to day management of sites to ensure employee safety, facility safety, oversee security, and maintain warehouse

  • Communication liaison between property manager, facilities, security and staff

  • Coordinate company events

  • Basic knowledge of general OSHA standards (State and Federal)

  • Assist in the implementation, auditing and maintenance of company safety polices

  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

  • Propose and implement GWP initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or warehousing.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.

  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in HR software and data reporting tools.

  • Excellent computer skills, including a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Effective oral and written communication

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

  • General knowledge of various HR practices and procedures

  • Ability to read and analyze procedures and regulations

  • Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Ability to Travel: up to 20 % in U.S.
