Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Operations Director for one of their top clients in Dalton, GA. The Cloud Operations Director will lead the strategy, architecture, and operations of cloud initiatives, ensuring the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. They will implement a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business goals, plan for future growth, and adopt suitable cloud platforms and technologies. This role involves defining and communicating the cloud vision and best practices, designing high-performance architectures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They will lead a new and growing team as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions, monitor and optimize resources, and stay updated on industry trends. Additionally, they will drive innovation, manage relationships with service providers, negotiate contracts, and address internal stakeholders' cloud needs.

Skills and Requirements

8+ Years of relevant experience or combination of education and experience FLEX

3-5 years of experience in a management position or building out a cloud environment

Proficient in the use of major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, GetHub) Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related

Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft, Azure Solutions Certified
