Salad and Go Vice President of Talent Management in Dallas, Texas

This position is required to work out of our Dallas, TX office 4-5 days per week. Relocation to the Dallas area will be required for non-local candidates.

Recipes from our very own Michelin-star trained chef, are prepared in our own central kitchens, delivered directly to our stores where our team members prepare made to order salads, wraps and breakfast burritos for our guests. Focused on a simple, convenient drive-thru only model, Salad and Go operates in more than 130 locations across Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada and is expanding rapidly into new states. As the VP of Talent Management for Salad and Go (SAG) you will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of SAG’s people initiatives. As a leader, it will be incumbent upon you to bring energy to the culture with a tireless drive for excellence and a low tolerance for complacency. You must be intellectually curious and have a willingness to explore new and innovative approaches to talent management, inclusive of the use of AI to learn and understand where it can (and cannot) create efficiencies for our teams as you create learning experiences for all. It is critical you are strong in the following areas:

  • Strategic Talent Management: Ability to design and implement strategies to ensure SAG has the right people in the right roles, with the right skills, at the right time.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Desire to collaborate with various teams across SAG to identify skill gaps, forecast future talent needs, and develop programs to address them.

  • Metrics and Analytics: Able to track and analyze key talent management metrics critical to the SAG’s success. This data will also be used to measure the effectiveness of talent programs and identify areas for improvement.

  • Embracing Technology: Assessing SAG’s current talent management practices and identifying where technology, specifically AI, can be most beneficial.

  • Team Leadership: Building high performing teams within key centers of excellence of talent acquisition, learning & development and talent analytics.

Requirements

You will have the opportunity to meet with a diverse panel of leaders from across Salad and Go, giving you the opportunity to share your story and experiences. Below are specific areas we will want to hear about as they are required for you to be successful in this critical role:

  • 10-15 years minimum leading teams and overseeing the following People/HR functions: talent acquisition, training and development, compensation & benefits, and HR Tech.

  • Front Line Operations: Has worked in roles that interact closely with people in customer service, food service and other front-of-house or back-of-house positions.

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in using data and metrics to measure the success of talent programs and identify areas for improvement.

  • Technology Adoption: Is comfortable with technology (specifically AI) and using it effectively to manage talent programs (experience with Workday, preferred).
