Shipping and Recieving

Location Requirements - This is an On-Site Position in Dallas,TX at the Texas Instrument site, 13532 N Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75243

Founder is currently in search of Shipping/Receiving Professionals to be a part of our partnership with a large technical client in the Dallas area; a producer of calculators and services for the education and retail market. This position is located in an air-conditionedoffice area in Dallas.

Responsibilities:

  • Pulling, checking, and neatly packaging equipment to ship to customers.

  • Unpack, check, and store equipment in packages received from the field to ensuring all items are accounted for and meet current standards

  • Ship and receive cases of products which involves scanning, printing/attaching labels and maintaining/filing shipping documentation

  • Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials

  • Perform general maintenance of inventoried items, including updating software on computers

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required

  • Intermediate computer skills – Windows, Microsoft Office products, ability to install/uninstall software or initiate software updates

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Good communication skills, able to internalize both written and verbal instructions and effectively communicate with others in a clear and friendly manner

  • Ability to lift and pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

  • Knowledge of FedEx regulations and procedures is a plus

  • Previous shipping/receiving experience is a plus.
