Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Dallas, Texas
Description We are in search of a dedicated Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity within the industry. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our investment platform, interacting with all levels of management to identify, improve, and implement processes that will have substantial impact across the business.
Responsibilities:
• Designing allocation methodology for various services benefiting our funds, working with stakeholders across the firm.
• Adhering to compliance of expense recoveries as per fund documents and maintaining the associated log of decision making.
• Assisting in the calculation and maintenance of expense allocations according to allocation rules.
• Interacting with multiple departments both domestically and internationally, including but not limited to Deal Teams, Fund Accounting, IT, Operations, Compliance, Financial Planning & Strategy, Tax, and Accounts Payable.
• Handling ad hoc items related to expense allocations, including changing methodologies, requests for prior invoice support, and deep reporting analysis.
• Developing and implementing processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of expenses.
• Utilizing Excel for problem-solving, managing large data sets, and performing detailed analyses. Requirements • Applicants must have progressive accounting experience, demonstrating growth and development in the field.
• Proficiency in expense allocation is essential for effective financial management and budgeting.
• The role requires experience in handling large-scale data, demonstrating an ability to manage and interpret complex datasets.
• Candidates must be skilled in using Excel formulas to perform complex calculations and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including the use of advanced features and functions.
• Experience in ad hoc reporting is necessary, demonstrating the ability to create custom reports to meet specific business needs.
• Strong analytical skills are required for detailed financial analysis and decision making.
• Applicants must be skilled in analytics, demonstrating the ability to use data to drive business strategy and performance.
• Experience in managing investment funds is desirable, demonstrating an understanding of investment strategies and financial markets.
