Robert Half Sr. Accounting Manager (Private Funds) in Dallas, Texas

Description We have a client in the aviation leasing space that is looking for an Private Funds Senior Accounting Manager to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This role involves managing staff who perform the day-to-day accounting of our operations and investment activities, ensuring financial integrity and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities: • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of staff, senior accountants, and accounting managers in the preparation of quarterly standalone and consolidated financial statements and investor reports. • Review quarterly standalone/consolidated financial statements. • Lead technical accounting analysis and application for transactions. • Handle all monthly, quarterly, year-end and special project deadlines and requirements. • Support the financial reporting team with audit inquiries. • Review and assist with investor capital statements, investor reports, and investor correspondence. • Manage fund cash forecast, recommending credit facility draws/repayments and capital calls/distributions. • Lead accounting and reporting process enhancements to reduce financial close timing. • Perform other duties as needed. Requirements • Must have a proven track record as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor • Demonstrated proficiency in Fund Accounting • Familiarity with Aviation Leasing is highly preferred • Experience with heavy consolidations in a financial setting is a must • Previous work experience in Public Accounting • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required • detail oriented certification, such as CPA or CMA, is preferred.
