AWS Financial Technology Team is looking for a results-oriented, innovative software development engineer, who can help us create the next generation of distributed, scalable financial systems and solution. Our ideal candidate thrives in building, learning and developing their career forward. We need someone to design and develop services that facilitate global financial transactions worth billions (USD) annually to build next generation AWS finance management tools. We use Python, Java and AWS stack to build solutions. We move fast, innovate, and utilize the best technologies.

You will learn all about how to implement and test highly solutions using AWS platform and its many products, in challenging agile projects, working with best in class professionals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

· Programming experience with at least one software programming language.

· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages a plus

· Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, service oriented architecture and relational databases.

· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

· Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment

· Experience with Amazon Web Services
