Job Description:

ServiceNow Architect participates and actively supports business initiatives by building reliable, efficient, scalable and business oriented solutions based on Now platform. They are involved in design and architecture of complex systems on all levels, from legacy migration, through core platform setup, to integrations, automations and orchestrations.

Qualifications -

This is a client facing role in the project delivery cycle. This role will work closely with clients, partners and other business units to ensure consulting engagements are successful. The role needs understanding the client’s business needs and clearly translating the Statement of Work to the successful delivery of the Project. The candidate will work as part of a delivery team, working alongside overall project coordinator to deliver a successful cloud consulting engagement. Must be fully flexible and mobile across the US and possibly EMEA for extended periods and potentially across the Capgemini Group.

  • Validated experience in Service Integration deals for ITSM assessments and technology migrations, primarily ServiceNow

  • Strong client facing skills and good listening skills. Ability to push the solution to different partners (both technical and non-technical)

  • Confirmed background in end to end infrastructure technologies and architecture

  • Project delivery for application discovery service both agent and agentless. Provide application modelling.

  • ServiceNow, BMC or similar expertise gained from production application deployment, validated experience of delivering complex cloud project engagements

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills; excellent presentation and facilitation skills;

  • Clearly articulate the pros and cons of technology choices and solution design decisions and to construct and present rational options to clients and prospective clients on their options

Facilitate group discussions and lead client strategy and design activities; translate needs and opportunities into architecture specifications that can be referred to by the analyst, development and migration teams

  • A focus on getting the job done accurately!

  • Learn, grow and stretch into new roles with different industries and domains

Essential skills, knowledge & experience:

  • ServiceNow Architecture experience

  • Experience of integrating service management and ITIL solutions into traditional hosting and delivery models

  • ITIL v4 certification

  • Architecting, solutioning and deployment with 3 of the following ServiceNow modules:

  • ITSM

  • ITOM

  • ITBM

  • CSM

  • HR

  • SecOps

  • Experience as principal technical lead

  • An understanding of application architectures

  • Experience in the elicitation & specification of architectural, functional and non-functional requirements

  • Appreciation of the cost drivers in systems delivery and operations and the commercial consequences of the technical decisions

  • Develop productive client relationships at different management levels and identify and develop opportunities for new business

Desirable technical skills

  • ServiceNow pre-sales and module trained / certified architect

  • Architectural certification (TOGAF)

  • Experience of implementing architectural governance and proactively handling issues and risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.

  • Good familiarity with the disciplines of enterprise software development such as configuration & release management, source code & version controls, and operational considerations such as monitoring and instrumentation

  • Experience of consulting or service provider roles (internal, or external);

  • Strong knowledge on software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum, Kan Ban

  • Delivery, program, or project management experience

Responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Delivery Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Delivery Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of delivery as well as robust business knowledge.
