JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard Street Dallas, TX 75202

DUTIES: Responsible for the delivery process of software applications and services including designing, developing, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining with a focus on automation. Gather and review software requirements and user stories, provide estimates, and create software design specifications. Collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through the application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans and strategies utilizing business requirements. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, test data, and test results. Design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results, and produce associated reporting. Perform unit testing, dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues. Utilize ColdFusion. Work within a scaled Agile development environment. Design and develop strategic reports including KPIs and Scorecards. Provide application support for reports developed. Create user stories based on requirements. Design frontends in Angular using Figma. Create APIs connected to MS SQL Server in NodeJS to support reporting. Write unit and functional tests using functional libraries in JavaScript including Karma and Cucumber. Create stored procedures, functions, tables, and indices in MS SQL Server. Write Spark SQLs in Plantir. Develop components in Angular to be used across reports and create charts and graphs in Angular. Participate in Agile Scrum methodologies including Sprints, pointing user stories, planning, and grooming. Perform pair programming and mobbing. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure. Use HTML5, CSS, Itrack, Jira, and GIT. Utilize Postman to develop, test, and modify APIs.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation gathering and reviewing software requirements and user stories, providing estimates, and creating software design specifications; creating and executing automated test plans and strategies utilizing business requirements; collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, test data, and test results; designing and implementing code fixes, validating outcomes against expected results, and producing associated reporting; performing unit testing, dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing; utilizing ColdFusion; working within a scaled Agile development environment; designing frontends in Angular using Figma; creating APIs connected to MS SQL Server in NodeJS to support reporting; writing unit and functional tests using functional libraries in JavaScript including Karma and Cucumber; creating stored procedures, functions, tables, and indices in MS SQL Server; writing Spark SQLs in Plantir; developing components in Angular to be used across reports and creating charts and graphs in Angular; developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure; using HTML5, CSS, Itrack, Jira, and GIT; and utilizing Postman to develop, test, and modify APIs.
