Description The focus of this role is on the income tax compliance and provision processes. This includes preparing and managing each process from start to finish. In this role, you will utilize Microsoft Excel daily and work in Corptax for federal and state income tax compliance and year-end provision. Additionally, you will frequently work with other departments, assisting with tax related inquiries and gathering information for tax support. To be successful in this role, you will need to display organizational skills, strong understanding of income tax, ability to effectively communicate with the ability to meet internal and external deadlines. What You’ll Do:  Corporate income tax compliance (federal and state)  Income tax provisions  Support department and Company projects and initiatives  Identify and improve process improvements  Assist and support in tax research, tax planning, and keep current on tax law changes Qualifications You’ll Need: Must Have:  BBA or Microsoft, preferred in Accounting or Tax  Three years’ experience in corporate income tax compliance & ASC 740/provision  Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to perform data mining and data manipulation  Strong tax technical skills and analytical skills with the ability to problem solve  Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently  Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner  Organized, proactive, and deadline conscious Great to Have:  CPA or candidate  Public Accounting experience  Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the Company  Experience with Corptax tax software (compliance and provision) Requirements Income Tax Provision, Annual Income Tax Provision, Corporate Income Tax, Tax Provisions, CorpTax Software
