KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Category Sourcing to join our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide sourcing expertise and management across a wide range of various corporate services categories, including but not limited to Marketing, Office Services, Human Resources and/or IT Hardware and Software
Support procurement activities such as managing contracting needs including negotiation and issuance of master agreements, SOWs, amendments, and purchase orders
Work closely with business stakeholders and align with leadership on Sourcing/Procurement project objectives, structure key activities/deliverables, conduct in-depth assessments, improve Sourcing/Procurement processes, reach consensus on bottom line cost reduction strategies, and facilitate implementation of changes
Facilitate and lead the contracting life cycle working alongside business stakeholders and legal counsel including negotiations, redlines, and ensure proper representation and enforcement of critical terms and conditions
Manage sourcing exercises to drive value for the business including RFx, and direct negotiations with suppliers
Develop and build trusting and influential business relationships with both stakeholders and suppliers engaged with the business
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of recent work experience in sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, outsourcing, and project management
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Experience demonstrating success in positions of increasing complexity; combination of management consulting & line role experience desired
Strong interpersonal, collaborative and influencing skills to effectively navigate a complex management and organization structure with a high degree of ambiguity; ability to work effectively with suppliers, project team members, project sponsors, functional leads, and senior management
Solid organizational, time management and project management skills; able to execute on multiple projects, RFXs and contract negotiations simultaneously
Proven analytical, financial, problem solving, organization and project management skills to include stakeholder and meeting facilitation skills; have executive presence, presentation, and engagement experience
