Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced RT Inspectors for a project located in & around Warwick County, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Conduct RT Inspections on Piping
Casting
Structural Welds
Utilizing X-Ray & Gamma Radiography Techniques
Perform & Document Inspections Including Calibration & Operation of Radiographic Equipment
Navigate & Perform Tasks in Various Environments Including Climbing, Crawling & Confined Spaces
Requirements
Certified Level II ASNT SNT-TC-1A (2001 Edition or later)
Passed and Documented Certification of IRRSP from an Approved Entity.
Demonstrated ability to pass written general theory, procedure-specific, and practical examinations for RT inspection
Recent visual acuity exam with Jaeger 1 letters at no less than 12 inches within the last year
Certification documentation for the current and preceding 3-year period, including training, experience records, examination results, and vision tests
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfort with climbing ladders, working at heights, and crawling in tanks and confined space
Ability to pass general examinations cover basic principles of RT inspection
Ability to pass exam addressing equipment operating procedures, test techniques, specifications codes, and acceptance criteria
Ability to pass practical examinations focus on performance in X-ray and Gamma radiography
