Job Description:
A Full-Time, Research Assistant I is needed to join Dr. Camilo Ruggero at the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Ruggero’s lab and research focuses on the assessment and modeling of psychopathology as well as efforts to redress behavioral health disparities.
This position will provide technical assistance for various research projects and conduct research activities according to research protocol. The central responsibility of this position will be to research and compile a guide for mental health resources in the DFW metroplex, specifically resources that offer services in Spanish. In addition, they will assist in recruiting efforts for studies and coordinating participants’ sign-ups and payments.
This position is in whole or in part grant funded. Continued employment is contingent on the availability of funds
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in one of the basic sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or in daily interactions in a public services environment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
PREFERRED :
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social sciences
1 Year of experience
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational skills preferred
Experience using Qualtrics, Excel, and SPSS preferred
Experience with research studies and human services position (either volunteer or professional) preferred
