Compass is seeking a Program Manager to join our Global Operations team in Dallas, TX.

Job Overview:

In this role, you will work with the VP of the Compass Program to support cross-functional efforts to continuously improve our ‘program' model and define our most critical work elements. The Compass Program model applies our Culture and Program elements to ensure the efficient and effective execution of critical work elements with high transparency and a focus on the upstream elimination of errors and wasted work.

The Program Manager will provide three main functions:

· Support the continuous improvement of the Compass Program.

· Train and embed Program level processes.

· Provide Program Management support & coordination.

Responsibilities:

The Compass Program

· Use curiosity and humility in meetings with cross functional teams to understand the needs of the organization and participate in the development of ‘programmatic' solutions that allow the business to scale.

· Use workflow documents to concisely define Compass Program processes.

· Create or cull tools and work aids to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of critical work processes.

· Facilitate change management to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of the Compass Program methods. This may include the creation of training and educational guides on new work processes and executing communication and embedment plans.

· Deliver training (and consistent retraining) on Compass Program and Program work tools/aids to ensure consistent application of the Compass Program for specific work functions/groups.

· Conduct onboarding for new project teams to ensure they have the tools and knowledge needed to execute according to the Compass Program.

· Track Program compliance at a project level using metrics and methods defined by the organization to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Program Management

· Manage the process for prioritizing continuous improvement of the Compass Program.

· Tenaciously coordinate development efforts including scheduling and facilitating meetings, tracking progress and supporting project team members to meet deadlines and milestones.

· Escalate issues, risks and roadblocks as necessary to the VP of the Compass Program and take part in exploring solutions.

· Create simple processes and tools that allow easy access to Program materials.

· Shepherd document control & change management of the Compass Program.

What You Need to Succeed:

· Based in Dallas and available to work in the office.

· 2-5 years' experience in project management, change management or organizational development delivering complex and multi-disciplined projects.

· Be able to take a “human behavior” approach to understand why current work processes fail or are inefficient. Apply creative thinking and leverage others' wisdom to solve for the human behaviors; this may result in the elimination (culling) of processes.

· Comfortable working in an environment with no rule book, fast growth and consistent change.

· Exhibit a deep desire to explore the underlying ‘why' through innate curiosity.

· A forward planner, capable of complex thinking, able to identify and resolve project/program challenges effectively.

· Excellent communication and time management skills.

· Excellent organizational skills with an ability to produce quality work and achieve project objectives.

· Must be comfortable with technology and enthusiastic about learning new tools.

· Self-driven, and results-oriented with a positive outlook.

· Ability to lead and coordinate internal teams.
