We are on the lookout for a PART TIME HRIS/Payroll Specialist based in Dallas, Texas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a HRIS/Payroll Specialist, you will be tasked with handling clerical duties and HRIS tasks, managing data entry, reconciling timecards, and distributing paychecks. You will also be communicating both with our internal team and external customers. You will work approximately 20-30 hours a week. This position does not offer benefits at this time.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with staff to obtain timesheet approvals via email and phone

• Provide instruction and training to employees on the use of payroll-related systems

• Undertake clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, etc.

• Handle data entry tasks into Excel and the Paycom payroll system

• Audit and enter union calculations via Excel as instructed

• Download, distribute, and save reports as instructed

• Build and run custom reports out of Paycom or another similar system

• Contact various departments to provide statements

• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce

• Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration

• Proficiency in About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions

• Knowledge of Paycom software

• Experience with Workday HRIS

• Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems

• Experience in HRIS Analysis, HRIS Conversion, HRIS Database

• Familiarity with HRIS Implementation, HRIS Payroll System, HRIS reporting

• Knowledge of HRIS System

• Experience with Lawson HRIS, PeopleSoft HRIS, UltiPro HRIS

• Ability to Process Biweekly Payroll
