Topgolf Paralegal in Dallas, Texas

Topgolf is seeking a team-oriented, energetic, dedicated Real Estate Paralegal to assist with the management of Topgolf’s domestic real estate portfolio. This individual will work closely with Topgolf’s legal, real estate, development, construction, operations, and finance teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze and provide guidance to multiple departments within the company regarding easements, Declarations, Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, licenses, site agreements, management agreements and other documents affecting the property.

  • Coordinate with lease accounting, finance, and tax departments to ensure lease obligations are fulfilled and documented.

  • Identify and resolve property management issues that arise related to venues that are open for business while working closely with landlords and other third parties.

  • Assist in the drafting and negotiation of agreements such as easements, covenants, conditions and restrictions, amendments, consents, SNDAs, estoppels, site agreements, condemnations, governmental right of ways, road dedications and related real estate documents.

  • Collection of funds addressed in escrow and reimbursement agreements.

  • Track upcoming lease renewal option dates and coordinate lease renewals with Topgolf team.

  • Collaborate and work well with people inside and outside of Topgolf including title companies, sellers, landlords, engineers, surveyors, and outside counsel

  • Deliver excellent work product while exemplifying responsiveness, problem-solving, attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

  • Perform such other functions as may be required by the Legal Department.

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Accredited Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Paralegal Certificate preferred

  • Corporate or law firm environment with a proven record of successful real estate transactions

  • Excellent customer service required

  • Ability to work with time sensitive material and comply with numerous deadlines

  • Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
