Summary

The Merchandising Operations Manager is responsible for managing the logistics and delivery of successful merchandising visits across multiple programs and retailers. They will receive inbound requests for merchandising projects and work with MarketSource’s field team to determine available coverage. In addition, the OM will work closely with the client to determine required instore activities, client reporting requirements, and all additional information required to ensure the successful execution of all projects. This position requires a combination of operations, sales, technology, and management experience.

Essential Job Functions:

· Develop, implement, maintain, and responsible for multiple programs.

· Recruit, hire, and retain high-performance individuals dedicated to achieving designated targets

· Manage the training of new employees

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders

· Work with Salesforce Admin and BA to assess program performance and progress; gather best practices

· Seek to deliver continuous improvement to deliver exemplary results related to the program metrics

· Conduct weekly business reviews with the teams

· Closely monitor program objectives and provide critical performance feedback

· Provide program oversight and direction with a client-centric approach

· Drive the performance of the team to satisfy and exceed program goals and objectives

· Evaluate performance vs. expectations

· Develop and implement processes and measures to drive performance

· Ensure all activities are being completed and recorded correctly daily

· Provide analysis for ad-hoc executive management reporting

Partner with the program BA(s) to assist in client reporting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Demonstrated record of successfully working independently

· Strong business acumen

· Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve, meet deadlines and goals

· Ability to tackle complex issues and develop innovative and practical solutions

· Action and detail oriented; able to prioritize while handling multiple tasks

· Critical thinker with quick and strong decision-making skills

· Ability to communicate effectively and provide follow-up

· Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing programs and projects; delivering successful results

· Demonstrated leadership, motivational and influencing skills

· High tolerance for ambiguity demonstrated in the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, responsibilities, and clients’ expectations

· Ability to create and deliver presentations to small and large groups

· Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree

· 3+ years in a leadership role

· 2+ years of experience demonstrating success managing multiple merchandising projects

· 75% travel (approximately 2-3 weeks per month), occasional overnight
