Job description: The SAP QM Lead will provide leadership and guidance in SAP Quality Management (QM) processes and integrations with other modules. The QM lead will facilitate QM workshops, manage QM deliverables, and staffing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Main contact with the client in the QM space.

• Lead for Quality Management (QM) processes and integrations with other modules.

• Coordinate all delivery of the QM requirements, lead QM deliverables, and staffing requirements.

• Implement solutions such at catch weight, perishable food management, refrigerated transportation and warehousing, SAP Food Processing (MSG – Software), etc.

• Act on behalf of the Product Innovation Quality Management (QM) Team, responsible for understanding business needs and problems, and implementing/supporting solutions and technical upgrades within SAP QM (Quality Management) modules.

• Work globally to provide detailed analysis of potential system changes, develop / support on solutions, collaborating with various IT teams and Business Stakeholders.

• Tests system changes to ensure a validated state.

• Work closely with other IT team members from Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, customer facing, Security, Data Migration, Basis and BI, as well as business partners and domain experts to make/support informed design decisions and deliver agreed solutions.

Required / preferred skills:

• Preferred Industry experience in order of preference: Food/Protein, Process, discrete industry.

• Demonstrable ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements.

• Ability to clearly communicate and present different points-of-views on various technologies.

• Must be detail oriented, self-directed and have strong independent problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and presentation skills, and strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with CxO level.

• Successful teamwork experience and proven leadership abilities are required.

• Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and travel.

• 9-13 years (3 years min meaningful experience in the role)

• Experience in order of preference: Food/Protein, Process, discrete industry. Seeking experience with SAP Solutions within the Food Processing/ Protein Industry (Beef, Pork, Chicken, or Fish).

• Preferred experience with Live Animal Procurement processing, Global Batch Traceability, Disassembly Process and Byproduct production and usage.
