KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Corporate Communications (external communications) to join our Corporate Communications organization.
Build and implement a multi-channel communications strategy that engages external stakeholders and strengthen the external media position and visibility of our executives on priority issues related to the Deal Advisory and Strategy market, including but not limited to Deal market trends, Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity
Manage related media relations, thought leadership, social and digital media to support the business objectives for Deal Advisory and Strategy
Develop core communications materials, including messaging, media briefing materials and social content
Apply rigorous attention to research and metrics and maintain a strong awareness of the market and external environment to proactively identify media opportunities and distinguish KPMG's voice in the market
Plan and manage a robust editorial calendar of media opportunities, speaking engagements and other external thought leadership opportunities
Serve as trusted advisor to business leadership group and work closely with operations and communications teams
Minimum four years of recent experience working in Communications and preferably a related profession; agency experience a plus
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Communications, Public Affairs, Business, or related field
Exceptional writing, editing and proofing skills, as well as experience in media relations and digital content strategies
Strong technical aptitude; proficiency with social media platforms, Excel, communications measurement tools and external communications channels including Newswire services, media and databases
Prior experience supporting a business unit or group on media relations; the ideal candidate will have established media contacts in the Deals space
Successful track record as a collaborator, multi-tasker, analytical thinker, and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment
