Job Description:

Title: Lead Manager Communications & PR

Overall Purpose: Responsible for managing external and internal financial communications. This manager executes end-to-end integrated financial communications campaigns, develops proactive storytelling opportunities/materials and supports media relations plans. This individual also assists with internal initiatives, related to senior leadership positioning, financial performance, investment activities and investor relations.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and assist in the creation and delivery of strategic integrated financial communications plans. This includes activities such as writing press releases/statements and financial messaging/content for internal and external audiences as well as social media.

  • Create materials for quarterly earnings announcements, regular investor conferences and special announcements. Coordinate with internal partners to craft compelling and easy to understand financial communications materials and offer recommendations and solutions for challenging financial topics.

  • Oversee company’s annual shareholder meeting including assistance with project management, written and video content development and messaging coordination.

  • Lead on strategy development and execution of retail investor communications and digital engagement.

  • Manage Investor Relations day-to-day digital presence, including investor relations website.

  • Support executive positioning and thought leadership platforms for senior leaders including AT&T’s Head of Investor Relations.

  • Maintain a strong working-level understanding of the company’s financials and Investor Relations practices, including confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements to ensure compliance with Reg FD.

  • Demonstrate superior organizational skills, ability to respond in a timely manner to urgent press requests and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5-7 years of public relations/communications experience either in a corporate and/or agency setting

  • Experience in financial communications and/or executive support preferred

  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to confidently work with senior executives at the C-suite level

  • Ability to be on call, which may require being available outside of normal working hours when needed

Salary Range:

$105,600.00 - $158,400.00
