Description

A client of ours is looking for a BILINUGAL (English/Spanish) HR Assistant to assist the Human Resources department by handling data entry, personnel records, and administrative processes; assisting with general benefits administration and coordination and assisting employees in resolving problems and answering their questions; and coordinating the HR office when other staff is away. They are also looking for someone with experience in recruiting.

Requirements

*Must be Bilingual in Spanish with Recruiting experience.

  1. Audit employee HR and benefits physical files. Implement new organizational system and maintain files as new paperwork is added to employee files. Organize and group termed files by year.

  2. Create an electronic filing system by scanning physical HR files to create an electronic back-up file. Organize and maintain electronic filing system as new forms are added.

  3. Set up New Hire folders in both HR and benefits. Print New Hire packets as needed.

  4. Audit and maintain compliance of I-9 paperwork. Follow guidelines to resolve discrepancies.

  5. Enter salary vacation requests in vacation tracking system and Payroll. Maintain accurate vacation data.

  6. Assist in coordinating annual and 90-day evaluations by maintaining employee information sheets to/from supervisors as well as processing changes in the electronic and physical files.

  7. Receive and organize applications for open hourly positions and assist recruiter coordinate with managers to schedule interviews and onboarding.

  8. Create flyers and print handouts to pass out to all employees. 9. Assist Environmental Manager with data entry and cataloguing forms.

  9. Complete employment verifications as needed.

  10. Submit temporary agency employee timecards as needed.

  11. Assist HR department with employee events.

  12. Answer phones and attend to the HR and main lobby/window as needed. Answer questions, greet visitors, and take messages. Coordinate HR office as needed.

  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
