Description We are offering an opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in the construction/contractor industry, located in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial to our team as it provides first-level technical support to end-users across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving basic hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring exceptional customer service and timely problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Provide frontline technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or chat

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues as necessary

• Document support activities, solutions, and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system

• Assist with software installations, upgrades, patches, and basic software troubleshooting

• Deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating patience, empathy, and effective communication skills

• Collaborate with IT teams to share knowledge, resolve issues, and improve support processes

• Participate in training and detail oriented development to enhance technical skills

• Manage IT equipment inventory and conduct audits to ensure stock levels

• Respond promptly to IT support tickets and resolve hardware and software issues

• Educate users on basic security practices, VPN setup, and email configuration

• Utilize skills in Active Directory, Computer Hardware, and Deskside Support to effectively perform tasks and responsibilities. Requirements • Possessing proficient knowledge in Active Directory is necessary.

• Demonstrable experience in Computer Hardware is required.

• Previous experience in Deskside Support is a must.

• The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

• The candidate must have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• A strong understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience is required.

• Strong customer service ethos is necessary, and an ability to adapt to changing environments.

• Experience working in the Construction/Contractor industry is desirable.

• The candidate must be able to work effectively in a team and independently when required.

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure is a plus.

• The candidate should have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• The ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly is required.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.

• Experience with ITIL methodologies is a plus.
