Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform maintenance work in various areas including the fitness center, spa, and clinic. Responsibilities will include lighting, painting, general maintenance tasks, and contributing to a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Perform facilities maintenance work on property

  • Conduct maintenance in the fitness center, spa, and clinic

  • Handle lighting and painting tasks

  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks

  • Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs

  • Clean and maintain pools

  • Perform drywall repairs and painting

  • Handle plumbing and lighting maintenance

  • Perform carpentry tasks and use hand tools

  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent facilities maintenance experience

  • At least 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial painter

  • Proficiency in painting, drywall, and laying tile

  • Experience in lighting maintenance and general repairs

  • Skills in HVAC maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hotel environment is a plus

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance

Work Environment

Work will be conducted in various areas including outdoor repairs, fitness center, spa, and building repairs. The role involves using hand tools and performing a range of maintenance tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
