Experience Associate, Tax

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Associate, Tax implements solutions and influences others regarding taxation policies, best practices and procedures for implementation within the Tax Reporting function.

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax estimates, extensions and returns.

• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions and tax account analysis.

• Respond to federal and state tax notices.

• Research federal and state tax matters.

• Ensure compliance and regulatory standards are met within the department.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required; CPA, MBA or MS preferred.

• 5+ years Corporate Income Tax within the Banking/Financial Services or related field.

• Advanced knowledge of taxation required.

• Proficient tax reporting and database skills.

• Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook

• Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.

• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environment.

• Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances.

• Ability to influence others.
