Job Description:

The Event and Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in organizing, planning, managing, promoting, marketing, and executing programs and events for the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This position requires a highly organized individual with strong program and event management skills to ensure the successful execution of the institute’s initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree; three or more years experience in corporate communications, marketing, or a closely related field, including writing and editing marketing materials and/or special events planning. Experience with purchasing and budgeting requirements of special events. Experience with social media marketing tools. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in program and event management.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in marketing and promotional strategies.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Experience in an academic or non-profit environment.

  • Familiarity with innovation and entrepreneurship programs.
