Job Summary
The Controller leads the work of the Finance Team in completing accounting, budgeting and forecasting, NMTC and loan accounting, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, compliance reporting, payroll review and monthly account reconciliations. This position leads audit schedule preparation and coordinates the work of assigned board committees with the CFAO.
Job Qualifications
Must have 5 or more years of accounting, financial management, planning, budgeting and managerial experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, compliance requirements and non-profit accounting preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal verbal and written communications skills, the ability to make effective presentations, and experience and ability to interact effectively with staff, management and volunteers at all levels of the organization.
