Description

We are in search of a Controller to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role operates within the industry of finance and accounting, with an emphasis on transactional accounting. The Controller will be responsible for a multitude of tasks ranging from processing accounting functions to auditing and budget processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting functions of the organization.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing.

• Conduct auditing tasks to assure compliance and accuracy within the financial operations.

• Lead budget processes to ensure effective resource allocation and financial planning.

• Utilize software such as SaaS and Quickbooks Online for various accounting tasks.

• Oversee the month end close process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

• Prepare and record detailed journal entries as part of the financial statement preparation process.

• Implement and monitor control systems to protect company assets and report accurate financial results.

• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.

• Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.

Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Functions

• Experienced in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledgeable in Auditing processes

• Familiar with Budget Processes

• Able to use SaaS applications

• Proficient in Quickbooks Online

• Able to handle Month End Close tasks

• Familiar with Journal Entries preparation and management
