Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Content & Curriculum Writer to join the Tom Ferry real estate coaching company. As a Content & Curriculum Writer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality educational materials, including courses, training modules, and scripts that will help our coaches and clients achieve success in the real estate industry. You will work closely with our instructional design team, subject matter experts, and marketing team to create engaging and informative content.
Responsibilities:
Develop and write compelling and comprehensive educational content for our real estate coaching programs.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information, insights, and industry best practices to inform content creation.
Conduct thorough research on real estate industry trends, market analysis, and relevant topics to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content.
Create course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials that align with our coaching objectives and target audience.
Write clear, concise, and engaging scripts for instructional videos, webinars, podcasts, and other multimedia content.
Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency of messaging.
Adapt and tailor content to meet the needs of different learner levels and learning styles.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, landing page content, email campaigns, and social media posts.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new coaching methodologies, and best practices in content creation to continuously improve the effectiveness of our programs.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing content to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience as a content writer, curriculum developer, or instructional designer, preferably in the real estate industry.
Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and concise content.
Proficient in conducting thorough research using credible sources.
Experience in multimedia content creation, including scripting for videos and webinars.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team.

Supervision
Works under general direction. Requires only broad guidelines to accomplish objectives. Uses independent judgment to achieve goals.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree; or minimum five years’ relevant experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment
Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
The office work environment can be boisterous. Attire is business casual.
*We are currently working a hybrid schedule. We are in the office Mon - Wed and work remote Thu/Fri.. All employees must be located in commutable distance to our Orange County, CA, Dallas, TX or Boise,ID office; applicants outside of these locations will not be considered. The hybrid schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the company.
Travel
