Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work Youll Do
Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

Requirements
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities utilizing JIRA;
Conducting unit testing of web services and web applications using JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Postman;
Developing domain classes and database access methods using Spring Data Java Persistence API (JPA), Hibernate, and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC);
Creating web applications using Java Programming and Springboot to provide service and data to users;
Creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), visualizations of data trends, and data models by utilizing JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and MySQL in order to support business and functional requirements within the industries;
Creating technical design and unit test case documents to track test cases and issues utilizing Microsoft Word, Jira, and Git;
Architecting, implementing and supporting AWS infrastructure and topologies; and
Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development utilizing Java, Springboot, Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC), and Git.
