Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work Youll Do
Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.
15% Travel required nationally.
Telecommuting permitted.
Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, database design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies;
Utilizing Visual Studio, SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and RESTful microservices to design and develop cloud application data conversion strategies, and facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops;
Utilizing Visual Studio Code, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Bootstrap to design, enhance and develop cloud application User Interfaces;
Utilizing Visual Studio, Jasmine, Karma, Moq, NUnit, and xUnit.net to design and develop Unit Test Suites, Integration Tests, System Tests, Regression Tests to perfom quality check and E2E tests on cloud applications;
Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using Microsoft (MS) Azure Cloud, Git Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Docker, and Internet Information Services (IIS);
Performing root cause analysis and documenting results using Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Serilog, Microsoft.Extensions.Logging, Error Handling, ReSharper, and ESLint; and
Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using Azure DevOps boards, Git, and Jira.
