Goldman Sachs & Co. Conflicts Resolution Group-DALLAS-Vice President-Business Conflicts in Dallas, Texas

MORE ABOUT THIS JOB

The Conflicts Resolution Group (“CRG”) is a control function whose mission is to evaluate advisory, financing, principal investing, lending and certain other activities to identify actual or perceived conflicts of interest and assess the potential reputational risks resulting from the potential intersection among new and existing roles, positions, and responsibilities that the firm may have. CRG determines from a conflicts of interest perspective whether the revenue businesses may continue to pursue a transaction (subject to further review by CRG and other control functions and committees) and may impose limitations or conditions which are monitored by CRG. The revenue businesses are responsible for elevating to CRG potential client sensitivities or other issues that may arise from the firm accepting a new role or responsibility and are responsible for making commercial business selection decisions. CRG does not make commercial business selection decisions. In addition, CRG, like other control functions, shares responsibility for identifying other reputational issues.
