Job Title: Composite Bond Technician

Job Description

This role involves bonding of metallic or non-metallic materials to fabricate parts and/or for repair applications using varied but generally not complex products and processes. The job requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications, sketches, job orders, planning documents and engineering drawings. The technician will plan, lay-out, fabricate, and build adhesive bonded assemblies of metallic and non-metallic composite materials. The role also entails fabricating composites and metal parts into subassemblies for pre-fitting in preparation for bonding, curing in press ovens, and autoclaves. Other responsibilities include performing vacuum bagging, laying out, marking dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts or use templates.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 180 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dallas, Texas.

Work Environment

This role will be positioned in an Aviation 145 repair station where the main task is to overhaul and repair aircraft parts. The shift will start on 1st – 6am-2:30.
