Sabre Cloud Platform Technical Product Manager in Dallas, Texas

Sabre is looking for a Cloud Platform Technical Product Manager who will bring technical expertise to the product team responsible for the managing cloud platform product roadmaps, ensuring transparency of priorities and providing accurate and complete documentation and communication. You will be proficient in the product, understand its structure and architecture and its capabilities. You will capture user needs, input, usage, data and translate those into user stories and requirements that support the company’s strategy and technical innovation goals. The role possesses a unique blend of business and technical skills, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
Role and Responsibilities:
Collaborate on product vision, goals and roadmap
Understand/monitor the product's competitive and market landscape
Manage the product backlogs
Ensure alignment with technology strategy throughout product life cycle
Manage new feature requests and scoring
Define and document feature use cases, requirements and acceptance criteria
Manage documentation, including writing and/or reviewing documentation as needed
Work closely with cloud engineering team on release management, including release documentation and communication
Conduct demos (internal or external, as needed)
Work closely with cross functional delivery teams
Attend scrum ceremonies and provide guidance to scrum teams
Conduct/attend internal customer touch-bases, focus groups, conferences as required
Understand how users are using platform features and functionality
Provide technical support as needed
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
3 years of experience working with cloud infrastructure technology
3 years of experience in customer-facing roles (e.g. engaging with internal or external customers)
Business and technology-oriented, with a strong product and functional background
Abundant curiosity to delve into unfamiliar areas and quickly become proficient
Ability to present a compelling solution to a business need that is grounded in technology
Ownership mindset of individual and team objectives; with both tactical and strategic thinking to ensure measurable results
Ability to work independently and resolve professional, technical or operational project challenges in a creative, methodical manner
Comfortable working in a team-oriented, highly collaborative virtual environment that is geographically distributed
Ability to successfully navigate in a multi-stakeholder environment where there are often competing priorities, goals and challenges across our diverse set of internal and external customers and partners
Excellent self-organization skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize several projects in parallel
Strong business acumen and situational awareness
Must have excellent written and verbal English communications skills, and be a strong public speaker comfortable presenting or demonstrating technology in front of large groups at all levels of an organization
Proficient in Microsoft Office use for presentations and written communication
Storyteller and story mapper
Able to well define a product’s feature set
Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields
Tech-savvy, ability to engage with Engineering colleagues to drive technical solutions
