Deloitte Cloud API Senior Developer in Dallas, Texas

Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Engineering and maintenance of API platform that connects multiple customer-facing high availability applications. The API platform is built on AWS cloud using cloud-native technologies.
Build API connectors on AWS Cloud using Lambda functions and other AWS API gateway technologies. Build end-to-end functionality using API and microservices, unit test and deployment of APIs to AWS Cloud. Write Technical Specification Documents. Interface with the Client to get Technical Specification Documents
Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications Required
AWS Stack Experience (7 years' experience) - LAMBDA, AURORA, RDS, EVENT BRIDGE
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 7 years, with at least 5 years of AWS Cloud Experience. The resource should have experience in working on Client or Customer-facing environments.
CI / CD tools Jenkins or GitHub
Experience in Technical Specification Documentation
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Must be a local in the Dallas TX area and able to visit the client office a few days a week is mandatory.
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
