Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Controls Technician III for a construction engineering company to sit in DFW. This person will help lead the installation, startup and commissioning of Building Automation systems projects. They will participate in the review/modification of job specific programming of systems, upload of project databases and graphics and set up and configuration of PC workstations, user interfaces; data servers, IP Networking devices, routers, switches, mass storage devices and hubs. They will troubleshoot and resolve inconsistencies in functions or sequences of operations and resolve advanced system issues. They will have strong communication and coordination skills in order to work with contractors, building owners and managers in demonstrating system operation, verifying consistency and aiding with final inspection and testing according to customer needs.

Skills and Requirements

· Associates degree or equivalent required.

 · 5 + years experience in building automation systems

 · 5+ years' experience specializing in controls

 · Strong background in Distech and Tridium Niagara network

 · Background in IT networks, building controls, or building mechanical systems is desired.

Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing and must be at least 21 years of age · Experience with Siemens and Distech products is considered a plus
