This role will require the candidate to complete financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Other important responsibilities will consist of advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. How you will make an impact
Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes
Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution
The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information
Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations
Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Compose and oversee forecasting reports
Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks
Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Drive Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, real estate or another related field. required
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Strong problem-solving skills
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferred)
Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Proficiency in financial modeling
Annual Forecasts experience
Comprehensive knowledge of due diligence
Knowledge of underwriting
Well-founded grasp of Ad Hoc Analysis
Proven knowledge of analysis
Account analysis experience
