How you will make an impact

• Ready different technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

• Construct relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like actual spend against budgets/outlook, the monthly flash report, and key financial metrics

• Advanced preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits

• Backfill for Controller where appropriate

• Warrant regular account reconciliation to completion

• Promote accountability and the meeting of deliverables

• Assist implementation and assure adherence to accounting policies and procedures

• Facilitate the accounting team during the closing process to see to it that deadlines are met

• Give to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including forecasting and budgeting

• Promote to ensure a competent, trained staff through regular assessment, development, and goal setting

• Examine and build Ad Hoc financial reports

• Other distinguished duties when required

• Identify and develop process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

  • Accurate knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

• Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

• CPA an added bonus

• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience

• Strong analytical capabilities and discernment

• Microsoft Excel experience

  • Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Understanding GAAP and firm accounting policies and procedure
