Aerotek Aviation, on behalf of it's client is seeking to hire a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic for a contract to hire position with one of the worlds biggest producers of aircrafts in Dallas, Texas. This is a long-term contract to hire opportunity. Must be open on shift.

Description:

Jets they are working on- Challenger 350, Challenger 3500, Challenger 650, Global 5500, Global 6500, Global 7600, Global 8000

Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner

Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft

Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required

Operate ground support equipment

Assist with aircraft component repair

Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations

Perform other duties as assigned

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

2nd Shift Monday - Thursday- 2:30 - 12:30 PM plus OT

4th Shift (Friday - Sunday) - 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay:

2-3yrs exp $30-35

3-5yrs exp $35-34

5+ yrs exp $40-52/hr (50/hr is the top pay rate for local and 52/hr is the top pay for per diem candidates.

Must have own tools: Must have them etched and shadowed
