Brief Overview of Position
The Private Wealth Advisors division of Texas Capital Bank is a fast-growing full-service investment management RIA serving high net worth families, individuals, and institutions. PWA currently manages $3 billion across multiple offices in Texas. PWA seeks an Assistant Trader to help identify, confirm, and place trades for the PWA strategies.
The Assistant Trader will:
Assist centralized discretionary trading for a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm with $3Bn in assets under administration.
Work alongside our custodial partners and street brokers for best execution.
Update and maintain various discretionary models; run drift reports.
Work with the Head Trader to developing attribution reports for all discretionary portfolios that can be used to keep the advisory team apprised of portfolio cause and effect.
Work with investment team to assist with educating the advisory team for ongoing client dialogue.
Serve as a resource for all markets and advisors regarding current investment ideas, market color and themes related to non-discretionary and discretionary.

Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
At least 1-3 years of trading experience; prior experience on RIA, trust, or brokerage trading desk preferred.
Understanding of capital markets and asset allocation.
Ability to collaborate with and positively influence team members.
Strong communications and written skills.
Keen attention to detail on a consistent basis.
Prefer OMS system experience in Eclipse, EZE, Charles River, or similar system.
Preferred: Series 65 licensed (or able to obtain in first 90 days)
