We have an immediate opening for aSenior Operations Analyst, who will support the Aegis Sea-Based Weapons System Program Office at the Naval Support Facility in Dahlgren, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Aegis Sea-Based Weapon System (SBWS) program office (MDA/AB) implement an acquisition strategy to design, build, integrate, test, and field increasing capabilities for missile defense in an incremental capability delivery program.
• Provide direct support to Product Leadership to include task assignment and tracking, leadership updates, and developing briefings as needed.
• Support key product development and execute processes for planning, system design, element development, integration, testing, analysis and assessment, fielding, and maintenance of the Aegis weapon system.
• Develop, maintain, and coordinate AB functional architecture in alignment with MDS architecture.
• Assist with and document element- and component-level verification planning to ensure detailed design of AB capabilities yield full and complete verification of requirements to support fielding decisions.
• Apply disciplined systems engineering practices, identify and resolve complex problems associated with technical performance requirements, systems engineering, and performance trades.
• Develop program plans, plan of action and milestone (POAandM) recommendations, and prepare executive level briefing packages and formal documentation. Prepare alternative courses of action analysis and executive level results presentation.
• Interface with internal and external MDA activities, Navy programs, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln Laboratory and industry partners. Coordinate and manage program activities across OGAs.

Requirements:

• US Citizenship with Active TS/SCI Clearance
• 10+ years of personal experience with the Aegis Weapons System as an operator and/or maintainer
• MS/MA with 12+ yrs or BS/BA with 20+ yrs of IAMD experience
• Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks
• Self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic program office
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to provide program oversight and recommendations for resolution of complex technical issues to Senior Leadership within the Program Office and MDA Leadership
• In depth knowledge of other Naval Weapon and C2 Systems

Additional Requirements Desired

• Prior Program Office experience
• Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, Systems Engineering, Weapon Systems development and operations, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
